This section is NOT RELAVANT for preparation of the examination/assessments. Students who are further interested and are motivated to pursue physics as their undergrad course or otherwise can follow this section. Any new updates/relavant articles/podcasts that I personally follow shall be updated here.
As of now, only two different fields of physics has been chosen. For the sake of authenticity and trustworthy content, the links posted for each of the field are the direct resource for reasearch in that respective fields.
One of the fascinating and most happening research in physics is about particle physics. Students of class XII learn about particle accelerators (chapter 4), interaction of particles with matter (chapter 11 to 13). This column futher helps them to extend their knowledge by corelating with a higher dimension. Particle physics is about how microscopic particles such as protons, electrons interact with eachother. CERN which is a state-of-the-art renowned research institute for particle physics offers regular updates on the frontier of particle physics exploration.
A student if interested can explore further through their official website.
The following podcast also helps to get a deeper insight on particle physics.
Space exploration is equally fascinating and exciting. The science of space has come a long way where the exploration to dark matter, dark energy, figuring out the presence of balck holes for each galaxy (including the milky way) through Hubble telescope etc has been a trademark in recent past reasearch in physics. For more information students are advised to explore the following link & podcasts. Students of class XI learn the chapter ‘Gravitation’ (chapter 6). This column helps them to extend their knowledge and horizons of relavance in the real-world reasearch.
